This institution tops all the lists having most of billionaires among the alumni. Elon Musk and Donald Trump are not females, but still have to be mentioned as the graduates of this university. Among the women-graduates, we can find Safra A. Katz. She finished Wharton School Business based on this university and has been an executive for 11 years of an Oracle Corporation. In 2007, she was the first woman in the world having the highest salary per year- $34 million. In 2014 it decreased to $53,2.

3. University of Virginia

This American university situated in Charlottesville, Virginia is one of the educational hubs for women as well. Liz Smith who is one of the world’s most know entrepreneurs graduated from this university. She worked for 5 years for Avon, then several years as a manager in Kraft Foods and now she is a top-manager of restaurant business OSI Restaurant Partners. Many astronauts can be proud of graduating this university as well. Among these is Kathryn C. Thornton. Just imagine she spent 975 hours in space and got PhD in physics at the University of Virginia.  4. Tennessee State University

This is a Nashville’s another progressive establishment in which Oprah Winfrey with at least $75 million annual salary studied. She has been having her own show for 25 years, topped lists of the most influential personalities of the world several times and is the CEO of Oprah Winfrey Network. She is North America’s first multi-billionaire black person and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. She also received a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. Despite the fact that she had honorary doctorate degrees from Duke and Harvard, her alma mater is still Tennessee State University, the place she always remembers.


5. California State University, Northridge

This is a public university of Los Angeles, California. It has over 200 000 alumni. No wonder that there are so many popular actresses and businesswomen here. Let’s start with the first one. Chinese Wendi Den Murdoch, the head of worldwide company News Corporation and movie producer. Among other alumni are Eva Longoria, Allyson Hannigan, very popular actresses. The first played in “Desperate Housewives”, the second went viral with the help of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and, of course, became extremely popular after a release of a sitcom “How I Met Your Mother”.
