The National Police Commission or NAPOLCOM is the Philippine
agency commission that practices administrative control and operational
supervision within the Philippine National Police which ensure a highly
qualified, effective and credible police service mandated by the 1987
Constitution and the Major Police Reform Laws, Republic Act Nos. 6975 and 8551.
The National Police Commission administers twice a year two sets
of police examinations, one for those who aims promotion that is already in the
police service (Promotional) and the second one is for individuals who has the
desire to enter the National Police (PNP entrance).
COVERAGE AND SCOPE
PNP ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
Philippine National Police or PNP entrance exam is a three (3)
hour examination consisting of objective-type/multiple choice items containing
the four subject areas:

PASSING SCORE
The Passing Score to beat in order to passed is seventy percent
(70%) for the PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations.
TIPS
In every exam, preparation is the basic tip in order for all the
examinees to pass a licensure examination. In that preparation, it is not all
about the reference materials or prestigious review centers you enrolled but
also within the mind set towards the review and the performance itself during
the examination. It is not only about taking the exam but the desire and
willingness to do it with all the best of your ability. You must have the
strategic plan which includes the review schedule that preferably be 60 days
before the examination date. Maybe you could enroll earlier to a review center
or starts self-study/review immediately. You could lend or buy a reviewer, a
latest edition possibly. And don’t forget to seek guidance from our Lord God
for the encouragement and enlightenment all throughout these journey. Lastly,
do your best and give your 100% because in the end it is your learnings that
could change your life.
